Sculptures by Clive Wilson
Clive Wilson's indoor sculptures tend to be large and tactile. The first thing people do on seeing them is put out their hands to touch. They are so smooth, almost like stroking cat fur. The visual softness of the figures belies the hardness of the wood.
His work is mainly figurative, but recently has started experimenting with abstract shapes. Trying to give them the same visual softness as his figurative sculptures.
